Who’s that masked singer?

LUDINGTON — Sandcastles Children’s Museum held it inaugural Masked (Local) Singer fundraiser last Friday. The event celebrated the museum’s 17th year. It was based on the popular FOX television show, where celebrities perform in elaborate full-body costumes and judges then comment on and guess the identities behind the masks.

The audience casted votes for their favorite singer.

The masked singers included Kevin Kimes, Karen Haldeman, Dr. Nate Ladaga, and Heather Catron. Haldeman, dressed as Ted-E Bear was the winner.

Sandcastles Children’s Museum is located at 129 E. Ludington Ave. and is a private non-profit organization, relying on ticket admissions, donations and grants, to operate and maintain its facilities.
