VICTORY TOWNSHIP — A bike rodeo will be held on Saturday, May 13 from 10 a.m. to noon at West Shore Community College’s Art & Sciences Building parking lot. The free family-friendly event is being organized by Shoreline FORCE and includes a helmet check, bike check, wheel check, safe riding tips, bicycle skills course, and giveaways. Participating children are asked to bring their bikes and helmets, but some of those items will be available for use. 

Registration begins at 8 a.m. Download the form or find out more information here. The first 20 registered participants will receive a free book. All participants will get a bottle of water. 

Additionally, two other bike-related events will take place in the next few weeks for Ludington Area School students. Those events include a Bike Ready Bike Clinic on Friday, April 28 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the O.J. DeJonge Middle School parking lot and then Bike to School Day on Wednesday, May 3 from 6:45 to 7:30 a.m. The Bike to School event will take place at Oriole Field.
