West Shore Civic Band re-forming
SCOTTVILLE — Mason County Central Band Director Caleb Schultz is re-forming the West Shore Civic Band. The community group has been dormant for a few years, previously under the direction of the late Tom Thomas.
There will be an organizational meeting of the group on Monday, May 1, 7 p.m., at the MCC High School band room. Schultz said this will not be a rehearsal, instruments are not needed, but rather a conversation about goals and interests of the group. Any local musician is welcome to attend.
