The following is activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office over the weekend:

Friday, April 14, 2023: 

  • 6:16 a.m., alarm activation, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 7:25 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway south of US 10, Amber Township.
  • 11:16 a.m., two-vehicle crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive north of US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 12:49 p.m,. alarm activation, Grant Township.
  • 10:11 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway near Chauvez Road overpass, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 10:46 p.m., an 18 year-old Mason County woman was arrested for domestic violence after reportedly assaulting her mother, Custer and Cable roads, Custer Township.

Saturday, April 15, 2023:

  • 2:27 a.m., a 23-year-old Free Soil man was arrested for operating while intoxicated following a traffic stop​, US 10 and Meyers Road, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 5:29 p.m., fraud, North Victory Corners Road, Victory Township. The complainant reported that an unknown person had purchased two iPhones on their account.
  • 7:30 p.m., a 44-year-old Fountain man was arrested on an outstanding failure to appear warrant issued in Mason County 1700 block of Maggie Street, Sheridan Township.

Sunday, April 16, 2023:

  • 2:42 a.m., alarm activation, Pere Marquette Township.
