Suspected fentanyl found during traffic stop

GRANT TOWNSHIP — Mason County sheriff’s deputies are requesting a fentanyl possession warrant for a 28-year-old Free Soil woman following a traffic stop Tuesday, April 11, shortly before 8 p.m. at US 31 and LaSalle Road, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

Other activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday, April 11, 2023 includes:

  • 12:03 a.m., gas drive-off, Airport Shell, $15 in fuel stolen, 5400 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 7 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Rasmussen Road east of Bertha Lane, Pere Marquette Township.
