Deputies track down wanted suspects

SCOTTVILLE — Mason County sheriff’s deputies tracked down a Ludington man and woman wanted for probation violation stemming from dangerous drug charges Thursday, March 2, shortly after 6 p.m., according to Mason County Undersheriff Derrek Wilson.

“Deputies went to a residence in the 200 block of Second Street in Scottville in an effort to locate two subjects with valid Mason County warrants out of the 51 Circuit Court,” said Wilson. “The subjects were located; arrested on the warrants; and lodged in the Mason County Jail.”

A 46-year-old Ludington woman wanted on two criminal bench warrants and a 47-year-old Ludington man wanted on one criminal bench warrant were arrested.

Other activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office Thursday, March 2, 2023 includes:

  • 7:29 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 near Darr Road, Custer Township.
  • 7:38 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Rasmussen Road near Lancer Lane, Pere Marquette Township.
