West Shore Educational Service District

BASE BID: Single All-Trades Bid for Metal Siding replacement at existing building

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  West Shore Educational Service District (Owner) requests bids from experienced and qualified contractors for the removal and replacement of approximately 5,600 square feet of existing metal siding on the north and west sides of the West Shore Educational Center Building in Ludington, Michigan.

RECEIPT OF BIDS:  Sealed bids will be received no later than noon on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at the West Shore ESD Central Services Office.  Bids will be subsequently publicly opened and read aloud in the ESD Board Room. 

Sealed bids shall be addressed to:

And shall be clearly marked:  “SIDING REPLACEMENT PROJECT”

SUBMISSION OF BID DOCUMENTS:  Each Bid submitted must be accompanied by bid surety (Bid Bond) of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Base Bid.  A late bid will be returned to the Bidder unopened.

FAMILIAL DISCLOSURE STATEMENT:  All bids must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement that discloses any familial relationship that exists between the owner or any employee of the bidder/contractor and any member of the Board of Education of the West Shore ESD or the Superintendent of the West Shore ESD.

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE:  All bids must be accompanied by a certificate of compliance regarding Iran Linked Business Activity pursuant to Michigan Public Act No. 517 of 2012.

BID ACCEPTANCE/REJECTION:  The West Shore ESD reserves the right not to consider any submission that it determines to be unresponsive and deficient in any of the information requested and to accept or reject any or all bids.
