Police busy with warrant arrests over the weekend

The following is weekend police activity in Mason County:

Friday, Feb. 10, 2023:

• 6:21 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), one-vehicle crash, no injury, Quarterline Road south of Countyline Road, Grant Township.
• 7:20 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Hansen Road east of LaSalle Road, Amber Township.
• 6:45 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 30-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on an outstanding failure to appear warrant issued by the 79th District Court for a traffic offense and for driving while license suspended (DWLS), Tinkham Avenue and Harrison Street, City of Ludington. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 7:22 p.m., (LPD), a 58-year-old Ludington man was cited for DWLS, Delia Street and Ludington Avenue, City of Ludington.

Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023:

• 4:35 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 north of Sugar Grove Road, Sherman Township.
• 5:11 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Stiles Road south of Hansen Road, Amber Township.
• 1:54 p.m., (MCSO), a 45-year-old Mount Pleasant woman was arrested on an outstanding probation violation warrant in Eaton County, Mason County Sheriff’s Office, City of Ludington.
• 3:55 p.m., (MCSO), gas drive-off, $30.71 in fuel stolen, Ludington EZ Mart, 5900 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
• 6:54 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Jagger Road west of Lincoln Road, Hamlin Township.

Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023:

• 12:25 a.m., (MCSO), a 43-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on an outstanding Lake County failure to appear warrant following a traffic stop, US 10 and Meyers Road, Amber Township.
• 12:57 a.m., (LPD), a 22-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for operating while intoxicated and driving without a license on her person, Pere Marquette Highway and Sixth Street, City of Ludington. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 5:30 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 east of Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.
• 11:09 a.m., (MCSO), alarm activation, Victory Township.
• 1:41 p.m., (MCSO), fraud, Chillberg Road, Amber Township. The complainant reported an unknown amount of cash was withdrawn from a checking account.
• 6:55 p.m., (MCSO), a 28-year-old Battle Creek woman was arrested on an outstanding failure to appear warrant issued Mason County, US 31 and Countyline Road, Grant Township.
• 11:24 p.m., (LPD), a 32-year-old Scottville man was arrested at the Kent County Jail on four failure to appear warrants issued by the 79th District Court on charges of domestic violence assault by strangulation, second-degree domestic violence, prowling, and driving without a valid license. A Ludington police officer drove to the Kent County Jail; picked up the suspect; and lodged him in the Mason County Jail.
