Scottville Wesco customers donate over $9,000 to Hand 2 Hand

Around the County is a presentation of Preferred Credit Union, www.preferredcu.org, located locally at 266 N. Jebavy Dr., Ludington.

SCOTTVILLE — Customers of Scottville Wesco have raised $9,208.95 to help the Hand 2 Hand Program. Throughout the year, customers of the store were asked to “round up” their purchases to the nearest dollar amount. Hand 2 Hand is a program administered by Mason County Reformed Church that provides weekly packages of food and supplies to children at Mason County Central Schools and Mason County Eastern Schools.

“The Hand 2 Hand Team is blessed by this community in helping to feed the kids,” said Mary DeWys, program coordinator. 

Additional donations may be sent to Hand 2 Hand, Mason County Reformed Church, 45 S. Amber Rd., Scottville, MI 49454. Those who with questions may call 231-757-2088.
