Manistee man transported by ambulance following crash

GRANT TOWNSHIP — A 66-year-old Manistee man was transported by Life EMS to Munson Healthcare Manistee Hospital and then transferred to Munson Medical Center in Traverse City for a medical condition following a two-vehicle crash Wednesday, Dec. 21, shortly after 3:30 p.m. on US 31 north of Budde Road, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

A vehicle had stopped for a crash that occurred 10 minutes prior north of Hoague Road in Free Soil Township and was sitting in the roadway when a vehicle driven by the Manistee man approached from behind. “The vehicle was witnessed weaving in its lane and rear-ended the stopped vehicle,” said Sheriff Cole.
