LPD searching for illegal dumping suspect

LUDINGTON — Ludington Police Department is searching for a possible suspect in an illegal dumping situation that occurred Saturday, Dec. 17 about 5:30 p.m. According to Acting Police Chief Steve Wietrzykowski, a person made at least two trips to Maritime Drive by the carferry docks and dumped items(pictured) in the roadway. The person also dumped items in the A.J.’s Part Store dumpster on South James Street.

LPD is searching for a newer model GMC pickup truck, either blue or black with an extra cab. LPD is asking if anyone knows someone in that area who may have been remodeling recently.

Contact Wietrzykowski with confidential information at 231-843-3425.
