Higher education

VICTORY TOWNSHIP — West Shore Community College’s Main Campus offers a lot of variety for pictures. I’ve been photographing the WSCC campus for 34 years, beginning as a student and later as an instructor, mixed in with my career as a photojournalist and commercial photographer. I’ve had a couple images in mind to capture with the drone, including the water tower with the campus in the background and then the pond (known affectionately as Rondell Lake, named after WSCC Professor Emeritus David Rondell). I “saw” the pond picture Sunday as I drove by but I didn’t have my equipment. I wanted to capture the snow stuck to the trees, which I knew would wear off eventually as the temperature fluctuates.
