Library board to honor Ivan Anthony

SCOTTVILLE — Ivan Anthony, the long-serving president of the Mason County District Library Board of Trustees, is retiring.  He has served the Library since 1995.   In that time, he has been instrumental in renovations to both the Ludington and the Scottville branches of the Mason County District Library.

“Ivan has been supportive of the Library staff and the efforts of the Library to bring exceptional library service to Mason County,” said Eric Smith, library director.

To honor Ivan and his service, the Library Board of Trustees is hosting an open house on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 5 p.m., at the Scottville branch of the Mason County District Library, 204 E. State St.

The open house will begin after the regular meeting of the board.  Cookies and coffee will be served.
