The following is police activity in Mason County over the weekend:

Friday, Dec. 9, 2022:

• 7:05 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway north of Meisenheimer Road, Summit Township.
• 12:26 p.m., (MCSO), breaking and entering 1000 block of West Dewey Road, Victory Township. The complainant reported that someone was staying in a camper on the owner’s property without permission. Nothing was noticed stolen.

Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022:

• 6:20 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 west of the US 31 freeway, Amber Township.
• 11:26 a.m., (MCSO), larceny, 100 block of West Third Street, City of Scottville. The complainant reported miscellaneous items were stolen from an apartment.
• Noon, (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, Stiles Road south of Anthony Road, Riverton Township.
• 4:18 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), ​a 42-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on three warrants issued by Mason County’s 79th District Court for failure to appear, malicious destruction of property and driving while license expired, 600 block of East Melendy Street​, City of Ludington. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

Sunday, Dec. 11, 2022:

• ​2:10 a.m., (LPD), ​a 22-year-old Pentwater man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, Ludington Avenue and Ferry Street​, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 3:06 a.m., (MCSO), a 23-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for operating while intoxicated following a traffic stop, US 31 near Hansen Road, Custer Township.
• Noon, (LPD), ​a 16-year-old Ludington male was petitioned to the Mason County Juvenile Court for felonious domestic assault and battery, 400 block of East Melendy Street​, City of Ludington. The victims, a 55-year-old Ludington woman and a 26-year-old Ludington man, were uninjured. The teenage suspect was taken to another location by a relative in lieu of arrest.
• 12:10 p.m., (MCSO), a 30-year-old Custer man was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant issued in Kent County following a 911 call reporting a disturbance, 4800 block of East Barothy Road, Branch Township.
