Two sent to prison this week; circuit court sentencings, posted Dec. 1, 2022

LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced Tuesday, Nov. 29 in Mason County’s 51st Circuit Court: 


– Joseph Benjamin Terhaar, 36: Count 1, controlled substance – delivery/manufacture of methamphetamine, four to 20 years imprisonment with credit for 433 days served, fines/fees; count 2: operating a motor vehicle without security (insurance), dismissed; unlawful use of a license plate, dismissed. 


– Mitchell Sidney Fuller, 33: Count 1, home invasion first degree, dismissed; counts 2 and 3, assault or assault and battery, dismissed; count 4: home invasion second degree, 36 months to 15 years imprisonment, fines/fees.


– James Matthew Carrier, 34: Count 1: Assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, dismissed; count 2: assault with a dangerous weapon (felonious assault), 12 months in jail with credit for 75 days serviced, three years probation, fines/fees.


– Michael Allan Davis, 39: Weapons – dangerous weapon – miscellaneous, two days in jail, credit for two days serviced, 11 months probation, fines/fees.


– Jacob Anthony Lake, 27: Count 1, controlled substance – possession of methamphetamine/ecstasy, four days in jail with credit for four days served, two years probation, fines/fees.
