Man, 84, strikes 6 vehicles, handicap sign in Meijer parking lot.

AMBER TOWNSHIP — An 84-year-old Mears man received minor injuries after the vehicle he was operating struck a handicap sign and six other vehicles in the Meijer store parking lot on West US 10 Friday, Sept. 30, at 2:40 p.m., according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

“The driver stated his foot became stuck under the brake pedal causing him to hit the gas pedal, colliding with the other vehicles,” said Sheriff Cole. “Of the six other vehicles he struck, five were parked.”
