Exploring careers at WSCC. 

WSCC News is presented by West Shore Community College in partnership with Mason County Press.

VICTORY TOWNSHIP — West Shore Community College hosted a college and career day event on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at the college’s Recreation Center. About 750 high school juniors and seniors from 11 schools were invited to the event which included representatives from 33 colleges and 37 local businesses and organizations. 

Students were able to explore eight career pathways included business, computers and technology, communications, humanities and visual and performing arts, human services, health, manufacturing technologies and science and mathematics. 

The event was sponsored by Blarney Castle Oil and Propane, Safe Harbor Credit Union, Manistee Area Chamber of Commerce, West Shore Educational Service District, Metalworks/Fab-Lite, Life EMS, and Silver Lake Dunes – Hart Visitors Bureau.
