GRANT TOWNSHIP — Matt Knizacky of Matt Knizacky Farm Bureau Insurance of Manistee presented a $2,500 donation to Mason County Reformed Church’s Hand 2 Hand program. The program currently provides weekly packages of food and supplies to children at Mason County Central Schools. Matt Knizacky and Jim Camp, managing partner of Michigan Farm Bureau Insurance, presented the funds to Mary DeWys of Hand 2 Hand during the Mason County Farm Bureau annual membership meeting at Farmview Resort.

The donation was made through the Farm Bureau of Michigan Agent Charitable Fund, which is a donor advised fund within the Michigan Foundation for Agriculture. It serves as a fund for Farm Bureau agents, clients, and partners to contribute to charitable causes throughout Michigan. Following the purpose and vision of the Michigan Foundation of Agriculture, the fund grants monies to provide food, build agriculture awareness, educate and help citizens throughout the state.

Additional donations may be sent to Hand 2 Hand, Mason County Reformed Church, 45 S. Amber Rd., Scottville, MI 49454. Those who with questions may call 231-757-2088.
