New York man admittedly on drugs arrested at state park following strange episode.

HAMLIN TOWNSHIP — A 32-year-old Fairport, New York man was arrested following a 911 call reporting a “person possibly on drugs acting strange” at the Ludington State Park Sunday, Aug. 21, at 9:30 p.m., according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

“Mason County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Michigan State Police troopers located the man, who reportedly admitted to drug use,” said Sheriff Cole. “While speaking with law enforcement, the subject started acting out at deputies and troopers with odd behavior. While attempting to walk him out of the area, the subject started actively resisting officers and ended up being arrested.”
