Hansen Road construction to begin Monday, Aug. 15.

AMBER TOWNSHIP — The Mason County Road Commission has announced that road construction will begin on Hansen Road, between Stiles and Amber roads, beginning Monday, Aug. 15. During that time the road will be closed to thru traffic with limited access to residents, emergency vehicles and school busses.

Total road reconstruction will take place during the eight week project. This is part of the continuing reconstruction of Hansen Road, between US 31 and Meyers Road, that has taken place over the last several years.

The official detour is Stiles Road north to Sugar Grove Road, east to US 31.
