VICTORY TOWNSHIP — West Shore Community College’s College for Kids program began Monday, Aug. 1 and ends on Friday, Aug. 5. The program has over 212 students ages 9-15 from Mason, Lake, and Manistee counties. The program offers 19 different classes. Students had the option to take one class for half a day or two classes for a full day. Scholarships were provided for the majority of the students.

While the program hasn’t been held consecutively, it began in the early 1980s.
