Obituary: Chelsey Ray, 23, of Scottville.

Chelsey Rebecca Ray, 23, of Scottville, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022. She was born August 23, 1998 in Ludington to Scott and Melodey (Cole) Ray. Chelsey attended Ludington Schools. She enjoyed playing on her phone, camping, hanging with friends, but most of all she loved hanging out with her nieces and nephews.

Chelsey will be greatly missed by her son, Tucker; her parents, Scott and Melodey Ray; her grandfather, Gary Cole; her brothers, Scott (Amanda) Cole, Kevin (Karla) Cole, and Cody (Bianca Kirk) Ray; her sister, Brandi Ray; and many nieces and nephews.

Chelsey was preceded in death by her grandparents, Linda Cole, Bruce Ray Sr., and Leslie Lipe; her nephew, Gage Cole; her cousin, Skyla Cole; and her aunt, Lucy Ray.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. at Oak Grove Funeral Home in Ludington. Family will greet friends starting at 4:30 p.m. Chelsey will be laid to rest at Oak Grove Cemetery in Manistee at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Chelsey name may be made to the family to assist with the care of Tucker.
