Morton Road in Grant Township to close for logging.

GRANT TOWNSHIP — According to the Mason County Road Commission, portions of Morton Road in the Manistee National Forest will be closed through Aug. 3. The road will be closed between Cooper Creek and West Forest Trail roads from July 19 through July 25 and then between Munro and Modjeski roads from July 26 through Aug. 3. The road will be fully closed in those sections due to a logging project.
