PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — Several area children are participating in the U Dig It Community Garden program this summer. Each Thursday, through Aug. 11, the kids, ages 7-11, meet at the U Dig It Community Garden, located at the Ludington United Methodist Church, 5810 E. Bryant Rd. The program is sponsored by Michigan State University Extension, AFFEW (A Few Friends of the Environment of the World), Sable Dunes Audubon Society, and Lakeshore Food Club.
