South Washington Avenue construction begins next week.

LUDINGTON — South Washington Avenue from Fourth Street to Water Street will be under construction beginning Thursday, June 16, 2022 through approximately Nov. 14, 2022.

The project will include full pavement removal and replacement, replacement of the water main and all water services, replacement of the sanitary sewer and sidewalk improvements.

The project will be completed in phases with the first phase will take place between Water and Second streets and is expected to be completed by Sept. 15. The second phase will take place between Second and Fourth streets.

The affected streets will be closed but will be accessible to residents who live those areas.
