Public Notice: City Commissioner, City of Scottville.

The City of Scottville is seeking to fill the following vacancy: City Commissioner – At-Large.

The City of Scottville is currently accepting letters of interest for the purpose of filling an At-Large City Commission seat. The successful candidate will be appointed to the City Commission until the next regular City election held in November of 2024.  The successful applicant must be a resident of the City of Scottville for at least one year immediately preceding their appointment to office.  The successful applicant must also be a qualified and registered voter of the City of Scottville prior to their appointment and throughout their tenure in office. 

Interested persons must submit a Letter of Interest to the City Manager at Scottville City Hall, 105 North Main Street, Scottville, MI 49454 or CityManager@cityofscottville.org.  Letters of Interest will be received until Friday, June 10th, 2022. 

The appointment shall be made no later than Monday, June 13, 2022 at the Regular Commission meeting that starts at 6:30 p.m.  For further information you may contact the city offices at 231-757-4729.
