Fountain Horse Pull returns Sunday, May 29.

FOUNTAIN — The traditional Fountain Horse Pull returns this weekend after a hiatus from the past couple of years. While normally on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, this year’s pull will be held on Sunday, May 29. The event, which began in 1962, is sponsored by the Fountain Area Chamber of Commerce, and begins at 1 p.m. The event will include vendors selling food and crafts.

A cornhole tournament will be held on Saturday, May 28. Registration begins at 11 a.m. and the tournament begins at 1 p.m. Registration fee is $10 with proceeds benefiting the horse pull.

All events take place in the village of Fountain.
