Woman arrested after allegedly assaulting man and woman and throwing rock at car.

LUDINGTON — A 25-year-old Ludington woman was arrested by Ludington police officers for domestic assault, assault and battery and malicious destruction of property Wednesday, May 18, shortly after ​6 p.m. in the ​500 block of North Washington Avenue, according to Cpt. Steve Wietrzykowski​.

“The property damage was a dent in the side of a car due to a rock being thrown at it by the suspect,” said Cpt. Wietrzykowski​.

The domestic violence victim, who is a 25-year-old Ludington man, had a bloody lip and a scratch on his neck. The victim of assault and battery, who is a 33-year-old Ludington woman, received a scratch on the left side of her face and on her right arm.

The uninjured suspect was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

The following is Mason County Sheriff’s Office activity Wednesday, May 18, 2022:

  • 11:50 a.m., one-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 west of Schoenherr Road, Custer Township.
  • 3:27 p.m., larceny of a catalytic converter, 2000 block of East US 10, Custer Township. A catalytic converter was cut off of a vehicle that was parked on private property.
  • 4:30 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Hansen Road east of Meyers Road, Amber Township.
  • 9:36 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 south of Fountain Road, Sherman Township.
