Thanking the road crews

By Rob Alway, Editor-in-Chief.

Around the County is a presentation of Preferred Credit Union, www.preferredcu.org, located locally at 266 N. Jebavy Dr., Ludington.

SCOTTVILLE — The employees of the Mason County Road Commission were treated to lunch today by Michelle and Norm Gilliam, owners of Whiskey Creed Campground, located on the boundaries of southern Eden and Logan townships.

“We bought the campground two years ago and the public roads out there were in need of a lot of repairs,” Michelle said. “The road commission crews have been great fixing up the roads and we wanted to show them how much we appreciate them. We know it’s not an easy task to keep up on dirt roads and they are doing their best.”
