Right to Life oratory winners. 

HAMLIN TOWNSHIP — On Saturday, April 9, Right to Life organizations from Mason, Oceana and Manistee counties hosted their annual Right to Life of Michigan Educational Oratorical Contest at Lighthouse Baptist Church. 

First place winner was Sophia Grierson, a Ludington High School junior. She will compete in the Right to Life of Michigan statewide oratory contest on May 21 in Charlotte. The winner of that contest will then advance to the National Right to Life oratory contest in Atlanta, Ga. on June 25. 

Second place winner was Genesis Davis, a 12th grade home schooled student from Mason County and third place winner was Charlotte Thomas, a freshman from Hart High School. 

Students are required to write and speak on the topics of abortion, euthanasia, infanticide, and stem cell reach or human cloning.
