MCC forensics team wins third place in recent competition, prepares for regionals.

SCOTTVILLE — The Mason County Central High School Forensics Team earned a third place team trophy last weekend in Medium School Division in competition at Walled Lake Western High School. The team also took eighth place overall out of 26 teams competing. 

Semi finalists included Jacob Molina, Katelyn Ross, Emma Jancek, and Adrianna Donahue.

Finalists included:

Blake Tucker, third place, sales open

Roxy Jeffries, fourth place, dramatic interpretation

Lily Stone/Sophia Edmondson, fourth place, duo interpretation

The team will compete virtually at West Shore Community College April 16 for regional Competition and will compete in the state finals on April 30 at Troy High School. In 2021 the Spartans were state runner up in class C/D.
