Community invited to cheer for MCC cheer team heading to state.

SCOTTVILLE — The Mason County Central Varsity Competitive Cheer team is heading to the state finals Friday, March 4, at the Deltaplex in Grand Rapids. The finals begin at 2 p.m. The community will hold a send-off for the team beginning at 10 am.. The Scottville Police Department and Mason County Sheriff’s Office will lead the team bus from the high school to Scottville Elementary, the middle school, and upper elementary, then back to the high school parking lot where parents and community members are invited to send the team off. Police vehicles will then escort the time on US 10 to the US 31 freeway.
