Prisoner pleads guilty to drug possession.

LUDINGTON — A 41-year-old man incarcerated in prison pleaded guilty to possession of MDMA/ecstasy and fourth-offense habitual offender in 51st Circuit Court Tuesday, March 1.

Ryan Steven Brock, whose most recent address was listed as Grand Haven, appeared in court Tuesday via Polycom video conferencing.

Three other drug charges — possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine and possession of adderall — will be dismissed, said Mason County Assistant Prosecutor Beth Hand.

Brock was arrested May 7, 2021 on US 10 near Gordon Road in Amber Township. 

Sentencing is set for April 26 at 1 p.m.

Brock is serving prison terms for convictions of illegal sale/use of a financial transaction device, uttering and publishing, breaking and entering a building with intent, possession of a narcotic or cocaine less than 25 grams and an organized retail crime act violation, according to Michigan Department of Corrections records. He was most recently sentenced Jan. 6, 2022. He is lodged in the Central Michigan Correctional Facility in St. Louis, Michigan.

He has previous convictions of third-degree home invasion, forgery, car theft, and illegal sale/use of a financial transaction device.
