Season road weight restrictions begin Saturday. 

SCOTTVILLE — Seasonal road weight restrictions in Mason County will take effect on Saturday, March 5 beginning at 7 p.m. until further notice, according to the Mason County Road Commission. 

All county roads will be restricted by reducing the maximum axle load by 35% per axle and truck speeds to 35 mph.

Weight and Speed Restrictions are enforced to minimize the damage caused during the Michigan’s seasonal thaw.
