51st Circuit Court sentencings, Feb. 17, 2022.

LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 51st Circuit Court:

VanHoose

Shawn Marie VanHoose, 55, of 515 S. Mincer, Au Gres, Michigan, was found guilty July 21, 2021 of stealing/retaining a financial transaction device and was sentenced Feb. 8, 2022 to 72 days in jail with credit for 72 days served; one year probation; and $258 in fines and costs.

Joshua Mark Bassett-Lynch, 30, of 5813 Iris Rd., Ludington, was found guilty Dec. 7, 2021 of methamphetamine possession and fourth-offense habitual offender and was sentenced Feb. 8, 2022 to serve six months up front of a one-year discretionary jail term; two years probation; and $658 in fines and costs.

Bassett-Lynch

Nancy Ann Lefler, 66, of 770 Deer Run, Free Soil, pleaded “no contest” Nov. 30, 2021 to assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and was sentenced Feb. 8, 2022 to 29 days in jail with credit for 29 days served; one year probation; and $683 in fines and costs. A second count of assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and one count of operating while intoxicated were dismissed.

Joshua Michael Boger, 44, of 505 S. Main St., Scottville, was found guilty Dec. 7, 2021 of third-offense operating while intoxicated and second-offense habitual offender and was sentenced Feb. 8, 2022 to one

year in jail with credit for 132 days served; three years probation; and $1,073 in fines and costs. Boger’s case runs concurrently to a probation violation case. 

Kimberly Ellis Koslow, 51, of 6372 E. Ridge Ave., Fountain, was found guilty Dec. 9, 2021 of second-offense operating while intoxicated and was sentenced Feb. 8, 2022 to one year in jail with credit for 108 days served and $675 in fines and costs. Charges of assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and open intoxicants were dismissed. In a separate file, Koslow was found guilty of assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and second-offense operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to serve six months up front of a one-year discretionary jail term with credit for 110 days served for Count 1; 110 days up front with credit for 110 days served of a one-year discretionary jail term for Count 2; 18 months probation; 18 months probation; and $1,083 in fines and costs. One count of open intoxicants was dismissed. Both counts run concurrently, and both cases run concurrently.
