Scottville man injured following crash.

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A 69-year-old Scottville man was injured following a two vehicle crash Wednesday, Feb. 2, at 9:39 a.m. on US 10 west of Jebavy Drive. According to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole, the crash occurred when the 69-year-old man was attempting to make a left turn into a private drive. His vehicle was struck by a vehicle driven by a 67-year-old Scottville man, who was cited for driving while license suspended. The victim received non-life-threatening injuries, according to Sheriff Cole.

Another crash occurred 20 minutes earlier in the same vicinity. At 9:39 a.m. a two vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of US 10 and Jackson Road. A 65-year-old Ludington man received non-life-threatening injuries after he attempted a left turn from US 10 onto Jackson Road. 

Other activity involving law enforcement for Feb. 2, 2022 included: 

4:28 p.m., Mason County Sheriff’s Office: Larceny, 700 block of North Meyers Road, Pere Marquette Township. Complainant reported a welder was stolen from his property.
