LUDINGTON — Nominating petition packets are available for pick up in the Mason County Clerk’s office for individuals wishing to run as a candidate for the following elected positions:

• County commissioner
• Township officer (only partial terms that are open) 
• Village councils

Board of education representative for the following schools:

• Ludington Area School District 
• Mason County Central School District
• Mason County Eastern School District 
• West Shore Community College 

The Mason County Clerk’s office is located in the Mason County Courthouse, 304 E. Ludington Ave.

Petitions for elected offices in the cities of Ludington and Scottville are dispersed by the clerk in each of those municipalities during the appropriate time. Contact those clerks for details.
