Fourth-offense driving while license suspended citation tops police activity.

AMBER TOWNSHIP — A 54-year-old Branch man was cited for fourth-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) following a traffic stop at US 31 and Johnson Road Tuesday, Nov. 30, shortly after 1:30 p.m., according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

The following is other police activity in Mason County Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2021:

  • 3:40 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, Brye Road south of First Street, Amber Township.
  • 7:13 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway near Pere Marquette Highway overpass, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 12:14 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Kinney Road west of Tyndall Road, Logan Township.
  • 3:28 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 east of Nelson Road, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 5:12 p.m., (MCSO), a 40-year-old Ludington man was arrested for operating while intoxicated following a traffic stop, US 10 and Tuttle Road, Custer Township.
  • 8:53 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 24-year-old Fountain man was cited for DWLS, Tinkham Avenue and Rowe Street, City of Ludington.
