Fire destroys Amber Township house.

AMBER TOWNSHIP — An early morning fire destroyed a house at 189 S. Quarterline Road today, Monday, Nov. 22, 2021. Scottville Fire Department and Custer Fire Department were initially called to the residence, between US 10-31 and First Street, at 4:05 a.m. Pere Marquette Township Fire Department was also called to assist, along with Mason County Sheriff’s Office. According to equalization records, the house is owned by Harold and Stacy Olds.

Firefighters remained on scene until about 11:15 a.m. A Michigan State Police fire marshal has been called to investigate the fire.
