SCOTTVILLE — Over 200 traditional Thanksgiving turkey meals were prepared today, Sunday, Nov. 21, during the Scottville Community Thanksgiving Dinner for Seniors, held outside the former Scottville Optimist Center. The event was organized by the Scottville Area Senior Center with volunteers from Scottville Downtown Development Authority, Scottville City Commission, and Scottville Optimist Club. Meals were prepared by Mason County Central Schools Food Service served drive-thru style 

Bill Kerans, executive director of the senior center, said the event was scheduled for two hours, but the food ran out in just over an hour. He said most of the people coming after that time were very understanding.
