An opportunity to support Irish music.

An opportunity to support Irish music.

For the past several years, Mason County Press has been a sponsor of the Michigan Irish Music Festival, held annually in Muskegon (with the exception of 2020 and 2021). A few years ago, we met Niamh Dunne from Ireland as she sang and played fiddle in the internationally acclaimed band Beoga. Like most artists, she relies on the support of patrons to sell her art, in this case her new album.

Niamh Dunne, who lives in County Antrim in Ireland, is an accomplished violin player and singer, who is known for her folk infused fiddle compositions and smoky warm vocal style. Beoga is best known for its Irish fusion music and 20 years touring and recording experience.

If you would like to help, consider supporting her Kickstarter project here.

Listen to her new project and follow the link to listen and learn more.
