Ceremony at Victory Park to commemorate unknown soldiers.

VICTORY TOWNSHIP — The Michigan Dunes Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the American Legion Post #76 will hold a ceremony on Veterans Day, Thursday, Nov. 11, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the burial of the unknown soldier of World War I. The ceremony is part of the National Salute for Unknown Soldiers which will include a ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va. 

The ceremony will be held at the fallen soldiers memorial at Victory Park located at the end of Victory Park Road at 11 a.m. A special recognition of the fallen soldiers of Victory Township will also be held.
