Obituary: Jason Quick, 34, of Scottville.

Jason Russell Quick, 34, of Scottville passed away early Wednesday morning, October 6, 2021.  Jason was born in Ludington on June 25, 1987, the son of Dean and Laura (Partridge) Quick, and brother of his big sister Deanna.  He graduated from Mason County Central High School with the class of 2006.

Jason loved to hunt and fish and was an avid and skilled outdoorsman. He enjoyed working with his hands, was always eager to help, and was a friend to many.  He was a life-long resident of Mason County and spent his free time in the woods with his family. Jason was a tender-hearted soul who was kind and friendly to everyone he met. Affectionately called “Bud” by his family growing up, he was a well-mannered individual and recently adopted a puppy names Chloe, who he loved dearly.

Jason was a beloved son, grandson, brother, father, and friend. He will be greatly missed by his parents Dean and Laura; his sister Deanna (Matthew) Warmuskerken; his grandparents Jean (Dick Ohse) Jensen, and Russell (Patti) Partridge; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his closest friends Scott Sturgill and Remington Greiner.

Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents Beverly Partridge, Kenneth and Shirley Quick, and Art Jensen.

Funeral services will be held for Jason at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 12 at the Scottville United Methodist Church with Pastor Rick Hodgeson officiating.  Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Custer.  Friends may visit with his family on Monday evening from 5 to 8 p.m., and on Tuesday morning from 10 a.m. until time of services all at the Church.  Those who wish to remember Jason with a memorial donation are asked to please consider ASAN (Autistic Self Advocacy Network), or the Scottville United Methodist Church.
