Man with 18 priors arrested for driving with suspended license.

GRANT TOWNSHIP — A 44-year-old Manistee man with 18 prior criminal convictions was arrested by Mason County sheriff’s deputies following a traffic stop Thursday, Sept. 9, shortly after 8 a.m. for driving while license suspended (DWLS) at Quarterline and Hoague roads, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

Deputies also responded to a three-vehicle crash Thursday shortly after 2:30 p.m. at US 31 and Sugar Grove Road in Sherman Township. No one was injured.

The Ludington Police Department responded to the following Thursday:

– ​9:49 a.m., ​a 58-year-old Ludington man was arrested on a failure to appear warrant issued by the 79th District Court, Ludington Avenue and Madison ​Street, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

– 11 a.m., ​a 35-year-old Ludington man was cited for DWLS, Foster Steet and Washington ​​Avenue, City of Ludington.
