A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Mason County until 1:30 p.m. At 12:25 p.m. a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles west of Ludington State Park moving east at 55 mph. Expect 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

Current high temperature: 73 degrees; low of 57 degrees.
