Meth possession arrest tops police activity.

The following is police activity in Mason County Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2021:

  • 11:11 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), a 43-year-old Ludington man was arrested for driving while license suspended (DWLS) and assaulting/resisting/obstructing police, Limouze and Nelson roads, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 2:18 p.m., (MCSO), a 27-year-old Ludington man was arrested following a traffic stop for second-offense DWLS, methamphetamine possession and two failure to appear warrants issued in Mason and Oceana counties, Lavinia and Fitch streets, City of Ludington.
  • 4:05 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), ​a 36-year-old Muskegon man was cited for DWLS, Madison and Second​ streets, City of Ludington.
  • 7 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 east of Darr Road, Custer Township.
  • 9:52 p.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, US 31 off-ramp and US 10, Amber Township.
  • 10:19 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Pere Marquette Highway south of Chauvez Road, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 11:30 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 east of Gordon Road, Amber Township.
