Meth arrest, bike theft top police activity.

The following is police activity in Mason County Monday, Aug. 23, 2021:

  • 9:25 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), failure to return a motor vehicle, which was later returned, 700 block of North Rowe Avenue, City of Ludington.
  • 9:44 a.m., (LPD), found bicycles, 400 block of East Melendy Street, City of Ludington.
  • 10:19 a.m., (LPD), larceny of a 27-inch gray BMX bike, 800 St. Paul Street, City of Ludington.
  • 10:39 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), a 51-year-old Ludington man was arrested on felony warrants issued in Mason County for possession of methamphetamine and failure to appear, 1900 block of West Dewey Road, Victory Township.
  • 11:21 a.m., (LPD), vehicle crash, no injuries, Ludington Avenue and William Street, City of Ludington.
  • 11:45 a.m., (LPD), larceny of medication, open investigation, 100 block of East Water Street, City of Ludington.
  • 1:46 p.m., (LPD), a 30-year-old Ludington man was arrested on parole detainer, 400 block of East Resseguie Street, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail. 
  • 6:25 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 and Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.
