AMBER TOWNSHIP — A 64-year-old Twin Lake man was arrested for operating while intoxicated (OWI) in the 4000 block of West US 10 where the driver was at a drive-through restaurant Thursday, Aug. 19, shortly after 9:30 p.m., according to Mason County Undersheriff Derrek Wilson.

“Deputies were sent to a local restaurant for a report of an intoxicated subject operating a vehicle in the drive through,” said Undersheriff Wilson. Upon investigating, the man was arrested for OWI.

  • 11:11 a.m., (MCSO), a 45-year-old Wellston man was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS) following a suspicious vehicle complaint, 200 block of North Jebavy Drive, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 1:04 p.m., (LPD), missing 77-year-old who was located, Stearns Beach, City of Ludington.
  • 2:39 p.m., (LPD), personal protection order (PPO) violation, 1100 block of Pineway Street, City of Ludington.
  • 3:58 p.m., (MCSO), alarm, 6000 block of East US 10, Branch Township.
  • 4:55 p.m., (LPD), vehicle crash, no injuries, Ludington and Rath avenues, City of Ludington.
  • 5:37 p.m., (LPD), alarm, business was secure, 100 block of South James Street, City of Ludington.
  • 6:58 p.m., (LPD), verbal domestic, 100 block of East Melendy Street, City of Ludington.

Friday, Aug. 20, 2021:

  • 1:27 a.m., (MCSO), a 29-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and two bench warrants for failure to appear in Mason County’s 79th District Court, First Street near Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 5:55 a.m., (MCSO), single-vehicle crash, minor injuries, Fountain Road near Lasalle Road, Victory Township.
