LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

Felonies

Samuels

-Nicholas Lee Samuels, of 6717 E. Sherman Rd., Sheridan Township, was arrested June 16 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) on a felony charge of embezzlement by an agent between $1,000-$20,000. Probable cause hearing: Aug. 25 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.

-Daniel Leigh McWilliams, 38, of 1777 W. First St., Amber Township, was arrested Aug. 11 by MCSO on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance (narcotic/cocaine). Probable cause hearing: Aug. 25 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.

Rose

-James Allen Rose, 41, of 920 N. Harrison St., Ludington, was arrested July 31 by LPD on a felony charge of aggravated stalking. Probable cause hearing: Aug. 25 at 11:15 a.m. Bail; $500 cash.

Moore

-Tammy Lee Moore, 40, of 5221 N. Stiles Rd., Victory Township, was arrested Aug. 12 by MCSO on a felony charge of malicious destruction of building between $1,000-$20,000. Probable cause hearing: Aug. 25 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $100 cash.

 

Misdemeanors

-Christian Lee Mitchell, 30, of 304 S. Rowe St., Apt. 1, Ludington; Aug. 16; Ludington Police Department (LPD); domestic violence. Pretrial: Sept. 20 at 9:30 a.m. Bail: $250 cash.

-Kyle Robert Cameron, 18, of 2542 W. Meisenheimer Rd., Riverton Township; Aug. 15; Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO); domestic violence. Pretrial: Sept. 20 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.

-Nicholas Lee Samuels, 40, of 1047 Dunbar Rd., Branch Township; Aug. 4; MCSO; driving while license suspended (DWLS). Pretrial: Aug. 25 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.

-Kenneth Darryl Coleman, 58, homeless; Aug. 12; LPD; disorderly drunk person. Pretrial: Aug. 23 at 11:45 a.m. Bail: $500 cash.

-Petra Field, 30, of 6735 Virnetta Dr., Pere Marquette Township; Aug. 11; MCSO; DWLS. Pretrial: Aug. 30 at 2 p.m. Bail: $100 cash.

-Jacob Duane Reynolds, 21, of 706 N. Rowe St., Ludington; July 27; LPD; domestic violence and malicious destruction of a building. Pretrial: TBD. Bail: $1,000 cash.

-Brent Ryan Wicklund, 39, of 2356 W. Wilson Rd., Custer Township; May 7; MCSO; operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI) second offense. Pretrial: TBD. Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance. 

-Blake Thomas Alvesteffer, 24, of 5656 S. Eden Lake Rd., Eden Township; Aug. 17; MCSO; OWI. Pretrial: Sept. 20 at 10:30 a.m. Bail: $500 cash.

Sentencings

-Blake Edward Bailey, 41, of 908 Russell St., Ludington, pleaded guilty Aug. 3 to operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI) and failure to stop after an accident and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for two years; two years of probation; may not purchase/possess/consume alcohol; subject to random PBTs; must complete counseling program; must attend victim’s impact panel; and $1,500 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State (SOS). 

-Nicholas Lee Lester, 33, of 6717 E. Sherman Rd., Sheridan Township, pleaded guilty Aug. 17 to domestic violence and was sentenced to ten days in jail with credit for ten days served; one year of probation; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; must complete counseling program; and $595 in fines/costs. A charge of interfering with an electronic communications device was dismissed.

-Ryan John Whitworth, 41, of 1955 Reneer Ave., Muskegon, pleaded guilty Aug. 18 to larceny less than $100 and using a controlled substance and was sentenced to 21 days in jail with credit for 21 days served; one year discretionary jail for one year; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; and $545 in fines/costs. Charges of possession of a controlled substance and larceny in a building were dismissed.

Dismissals

-Lori Ann Holden, 43, of 7065 N. Dennis Rd., Grant Township, had a charge of operating without security (no vehicle insurance) dismissed on Aug. 11.
