HAMLIN TOWNSHIP — Three people received non-life-threatening injuries in a two-vehicle crash Monday, Aug. 16, shortly after 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of Dewey and Lincoln roads, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

“Preliminary investigation shows a northbound vehicle on Lincoln failed to stop at the stop sign for Dewey Road and struck a westbound vehicle,” said Sheriff Cole. “The drivers of both vehicles and one passenger were injured and transported by Life EMS to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital.”

Hamlin Township Fire Department also responded to the call.

• 4:27 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 west of Brye Road, Amber Township. A 36-year-old Ludington man was arrested for second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) following the crash.
• 6:38 p.m., (LPD), trouble with a subject, Waterfront Park, City of Ludington.
• 8:30 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Quarterline Road north of Forest Trail Road, Grant Township.
• 8:48 p.m., (LPD), larceny/trespassing, 300 block of West Ludington Avenue, City of Ludington. The case is under investigation.
• 9:34 p.m., (LPD), traffic stop – civil infraction issued, Rath Avenue and Foster Street, City of Ludington.
